DiscussionsShort answer to your question, Samsung's OneUI also continues to improve and expand functionality.
Nova is still leaps ahead though and in too many ways to list.
It is really excellent. Yes, it costs me a tiny bit of battery but is very self contained for a third party launcher. The benefits are worth it to me.
That said, it does appear that the new owners have a stake in monetizing the launcher beyond a one time purchase. This would also mean further hooks into privacy. At that point I would probably move back to MS Launcher which is also more advanced than OneUI but still very solid.

DiscussionsI use Bixby Routines so it charges to 85 percent overnight, then tops up to 100 percent about an hour before I get up. The big benefit of doing it this way is that the battery does not sit at max voltage for long periods, which is one of the main things that ages lithium‑ion cells.
I also keep the background environment clean. I removed bloat apps and anything that likes to run services in the background. That alone prevents random heat spikes and runaway processes, which quietly wear the battery down over time.
WiFi, LTE, and Bluetooth stay on unless I am sleeping, and GPS is only allowed for selected apps when needed. Bixby Routines handles all of that automatically. I stay in the standard profile and use power saving all the time. The processor is more than fast enough, and the efficiency gain is noticeable.
Fast charging is fine as long as the phone stays cool and you are not leaving it at 100 percent for hours. With these habits, my S24 Ultra still behaves like a low‑wear battery: smooth discharge curve, low idle drain, and no thermal surprises. I also bought mine at launch and it is still the original battery. If Samsung exposed battery health, I would guess it is around ninety percent or better.
I consistently get a full day or more with heavy usage.
