So phone just recently updated to UI9 and now when the edge panel is open it literally takes up half the screen. Is there a way to change it cause all I can find is changing the handle size when its closed and changing the screen zoom and icon size does absolutely nothing to the edge panel its like they made it immune to setting changes

Hell @KainMarko313. We appreciate you reaching out to the Samsung Community & welcome! Transitioning to a new software version takes some adjustment, and we want to help you get your display looking just right.

Please, give these quick steps a try:

Modify Screen Zoom: Open Settings, tap Display, select Screen zoom, and move the slider left to make elements smaller.

Check Panel Configuration: Open the panel, tap the gear icon, and deselect any extra panels you do not need active on your screen.

Restart the Device: Turn your phone completely off and back on to clear temporary display scaling glitches.

Reset Settings: Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset all settings to clear out stubborn preference glitches without erasing personal files.
You can find official instructions and manage your Edge Panel settings through this Samsung Support Guide.
Please let us know how these steps work for you so we can ensure your device functions exactly the way you prefer.
