Cannot use Google pay after installing Samsung one UI 9.0 beta

Ever since I installed the Samsung one UI 9.0 BETA update, now my Google Pay will not work. I get an error message my phone "Cannot tap to pay as it does not meet software standards." In Google Play Store under settings, it shows my "phone is not certified." This didn't start happening until I installed another software update a couple of days ago.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Look for updates from Google System Services.

Go to settings, Google Services, All Services, System Services. There should be plenty of updates there. Specifically Play. Services and Mainline = Play System. Save the Mainline for last.

Heads up, you are on Beta I presume because Ui9 hasn't been released in the US yet. This needs to be posted in the Beta forums. Also yo to the Playstore and look for an update there. Tap on your profile picture in the Playstore, scroll down to the bottom, about, Playstore update. There is an update there too.

Thanks for the info. I did follow your instructions. Out of the list, only Android System Webview and Google Play Services needed to be updated. Everything else is up to date.

Play Store Version is up to date when I click on it.

Play Protect Certification still shows " Device is not Certified." The only option it gives me to fix that issue is to leave the beta program and reset to factory settings.

I don't want to do a factory reset, so I installed Google Wallet on my watch which is running 8.0 and use my watch for Google Wallet purchases until I can use my phone again. Thanks.

Then use Samsung wallet until the updates come. Check everyday. It also helps to register in the Google System Services Beta too. You will get certified faster.

You can join that beta on the update page. I have been in it for over 10 years. You get new features first.

Okay thanks. I saw the Google Beta notice. I'll consider joining. I didn't even think about changing to the Samsung Wallet. Hopefully that works correctly in Samsung's Beta program.

This is a bit of a headache. Certain other apps like Waymo will also not run. This has now existed in beta2 and 3 for zfold 7. Sammy should prioritize things like this for a fix. I'm not giving up. Will stay in the beta cause I love new stuff and helping where I can.
