HomeUp Favorites off?

Yes, I sideloaded the HomeUp module. This question is for anyone who uses the setting to turn off favorites . 

When you turn off favorites your screen is supposed to get expand letting you use the space between the page indicators which slide down to the bottom of screen, essential giving you an extra row. It seems I can no longer regain that space when favorites are turned off. Examples are provided in the screenshots of before on Ui8.5 and now on Ui9. Is this a bug? Has anyone successfully regained that space? 

This was my favorite setting in HomeUp. This is ridiculous to have the setting to turn off favorites and leave the space empty.

After you sideloaded the APK, did it show up? I haven't even seen the module since entering the beta, even after sideloading, and it doesn't show up anymore, but I get the update notice

It resides in homescreen settings, more customization.

Check to see if it got hidden.

I also wasn't able to successfully use that space. It was just sitting there. I guess as a slightly painful workaround, you can use DIY home and place stuff there.

If the ridiculously ugly favorites background is the reason we don't regain that space, why is the setting to turn off favorites still there. I hope this isn't the final decision.

This will be the official release of HomeUp that was released in South Korea already.

Its still built on the stable builds of one ui which we are not running lol
