Is anyone else having problems getting satellite view in Google Maps?

I use Google Maps a lot and notice the last few times I couldn't get the satellite view.

I just checked. No issues here. Try clearing cache for Google Maps. Clear data also if that doesn't work.

I have mine set to open in satellite view. Sometimes it works but most of the time I have to toggle the layers to get it to work right. Strange thing is that with android auto running it loads satellite view like it should

Same thing, I have to toggle the satellite view to turn it on, even if it's already turned on

1. Open Samsung Members → One UI Beta Program → Beta Feedback.
