TabletsWhen trying to get help from the Community Forums it looked like I was supposed to narrow down the subject area by choosing a category (e.g., phone, tablet, wearable, etc.). However, when I chose "Tablet", unlike other choices, the page that was displayed was completely blank. The URL was "https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tablets/bd-p/get-help-tablets".
The problem I'm having is pretty basic. When I connect my Tab A9+ to my Windows computer using a USB cable the device does appear in the Windows File Manager screen. However, when I select it file manager says there is nothing in the folder. How is that possible? I might point out that I do have an SD Card installed on this device. I do have other samsung devices (both phones and tablets) which allow me to view the files on the device. The tablet in question is newer than the one that works as expected.

TabletsThis came about as a result of wanting to make audio recordings. I installed the Samsung Voice Recorder App. The recordings are being stored on my SD Card which I believe is what I requested.

TabletsThank you so much for bringing this to our attention, aeneas. We are actively working on a resolution.
We'd like to gather a little more information and look into this further:
Is the tablet running the latest software version?
Are you able to access the file directly on the tablet?
What is the model number of the tablet you are currently using?
With this additional information, it will be our pleasure to continue investigating this behavior and provide the best possible assistance.
Be sure to click " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.

I can find the file using the File Manager on the tablet.
Model Name is SM-X219

TabletsWhile this topic does appear to have died, I have learned something new which I thought might be worth posting.
Given the difficulty in getting my Galaxy Tab 9+ to allow access to its' files on a Windows computer I've now experimented with a couple of Samsung phones. One is a Galaxy A01 (Model SM-A015M/DS) which, I think, is quite a bit older than my Tab 9+ tablet. The other is a Galaxy A15 5G (Model SM-A156U) which was recently acquired by me but, I suspect, has been available for quite a while now. In both cases I can access the phones file system on my Windows computer as desired, even though, I think, the Tab 9+ is probably a more recently released device. The one caveat is that in the case of the phones a message gets displayed asking if I want to allow access and I did respond to Allow access. It did take me a while to notice this request by the phone when using my computer and what appeared in the Windows File Manager was the same as what I now get on the Tab 9+ until acting to Allow it on the phones.. However, now that I know about it, it is something I am looking for but such a request never happens on the Tab 9+.
